The best bagels I have had so far on the island of Montreal. The bagels are soft and fresh with great variety. They also serve freshly sqeezed Orange Juice which one can enjoy while walking around the lake shore.
The service is amazing and the staff have such welcoming smiles. Will be getting my bagels more frequently from here now.
Got the lox bagel with an orange juice and the bagel was the perfect texture. Very cute patio, dog friendly. Also got bagels and orange juice to bring home. Would recommend.
Visited in august 2023. Bagels were fresh, alot of different options, good cream cheese, vegan option as well. my kids loved the rainbow bagels!
However, customer service was a bit rude at the counter, no hi or bonjour. I Asked about the menu, was simply pointed not answered, the employee was avoiding looking and speaking to me, but I was the only client in the store and I was very polite. It felt like the cashier wanted me to leave asap instead of ordering.
The man who prepared our bagels was friendly.
I will probably try again.. we will see next time, maybe the cashier was having a bad day.
I had heard about Dizz’s and was really looking forward to trying out the bagels, but I ordered a few different things as well- everything was absolutely delicious, but totally ruined by the bad customer service I experienced. I went in today for the very first time and there was maybe one other person waiting for an order. If it had been super busy I would have understood the dismissive behaviour that the lady at the cash gave me, but my goodness I never thought I would be made to feel dumb just for making an order. It was like she just couldn’t be bothered. It’s such a shame because the shop is actually quite cute and the food is good!
Excellent bagels! Friendly service and nice outdoor set up. Like the fact that they provide clean water bowl for dogs! They have fresh squeezed orange juice & salads available. Everything looks nice and clean. Look forward to trying all their stuff!
I went to this bagel shop with low expectations because I had a bad experience with bagels in the past. My kids found a love for bagels and wanted to have a bagel on a crisp autumn day. When we walked in the kids were jumping up and down in glee when they saw the ingenious menu options. I personally got a cheese and bacon everything bagel toasted with butter. When I first took a bite all of my earlier issues with bagels had suddenly went away. The love and care put into each and every single bagel is something to take note of. My family is from New York, known as the bagel capital of the world and my kids still regards Dizz’s bagels as the best they have ever tasted. I would take a trip back to Canada just for these bagels!
My wife and I were in the Pointe-Claire village this morning and wanted to try Diaz's bagels out. As we walked to the store, we noticed a lot of seating outside but given that it was cold, we were hoping for inside seating.
When we got inside, we didn't notice any and thought maybe there was another area. My wife kindly asked the lady behind the counter if there was any seating indoors, to which the lady rudely answered No and just walked away to the back. No one to serve us or anything - we simply walked.
Never going back again - the service was HORRIBLE. Ironically, we got AMAZING and FRIENDLY service from Victor Rose Cafe down the street.
Great spot for breakfast, lunch or just to grab bagels.
They have a menu with lots of choices, many options for drinks, snacks and all different snacks to take home.
The Richie is delicious and filling and the fresh squeezed orange juice is sweet, tart and refreshing!
Between the awesome food, the friendly staff and lots of places to sit between the two terraces, it’s an amazing addition to the village!
